Activity summary:

The International Association of Conference Translators is the professional organisation which represents the language staff other than interpreters, namely translators, précis-writers, revisers and editors, whether temporary or permanent, who work for the international organisations or conferences.
The main purpose of AITC, which was founded in 1962, is to standardise the working and service conditions of the language staff recruited on a temporary basis by the international organisations, mostly belonging to the United Nations system.
