The World Alliance of Reformed Churches links as a family over 70 million Christians in 200 Congregational, Presbyterian, Reformed and United Churches in 100 countries. Most live and witness in the southern hemisphere; many are religious minorities seeking to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through the Reformed understanding of grace, faith and scripture. WARC encourages theological reflection, research and action on questions of Reformed identity, mission and unity; Christian social and environmental responsibility; democracy and human rights; and other issues identified by member churches. These questions are pursued at regional and international level, to assist member churches in their ministry in today's world. WARC also engages in dialogue with Christians of other confessional traditions. Its Partnership Fund offers modest assistance to member churches in the two-thirds world.
