Activity summary:

The World Federation of United Nations Associations is the only international non-governmental organisation which devotes itself entirely to the support of the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, and to the promotion of public awareness an understanding of the activities of the United Nations and its agencies. WFUNA Member Associations are established in all parts of the world, in countries of various political, economic and social systems, and at different stages of development.
WFUNA was founded on 2 August 1946 by men and women motivated by the ideals of the UN Charter, as a peoples’ movement for the United Nations. It cooperates with the UN Department of Public Information and various substantive sectors of the UN Secretariat.
