The Centre was founded in 1970 to inform the public about the development of relations between Europe and the Third World. Its work is based on the belief that there is not one underdeveloped world and one developed world, but only one badly developed world. It publishes books, partly elaborated by Third World groups and researchers, and develops research and information programmes on main issues concerning South/North relationships.
