Activity summary:

The Geneva International Peace Research Institute (GIPRI) is a foundation under private Swiss law, not tied to any political or religious organization, which is dedicated to promoting the study, teaching and interdisciplinary discussion of problems which inhibit peace. It is a meeting place for all persons, the public as well as specialists, who are interested in these questions.
The institute's stable resources are modest and are mainly the result of subsidies from the City of Geneva and other surrounding cities. Specific research projects are financed by official organisms, as well as by private funds.
